On May 28, 2011, we held our Emerald Ball at Le Dome in Oakville to celebrate 55 years of Scottish Country dancing in Oakville.  It was an elegant, highly enjoyable evening.  After enjoying a multi-course dinner, guests were invited to join in the Grand March and then dance to the wonderful live music of The Scottish Accent. 

The winner of the door prize was Greg Munz, he is the recipient of a lovely square cut emerald.
Wally Nisbet's dance "Eight on the Sixteen" was selected as the winner of the dance writing competition and the dance was performed that evening by a demonstration team.
